Inder Brass Fountain Pen

The Brass Fountain Pen

A magnificent example of the pen maker’s art - its rich, golden lustre emits a warm, reassuring glow and feel. This pen is truly exquisite.

Handmade in England, the Brass pen is bored from a solid rod of brass bar and combines industrial durability with sophisticated design, elegance, and exquisite workmanship, built to accompany its owner for life.

It is a substantial instrument with a reassuring heft that conveys absolute confidence, making it more than up to the task whether you are writing a quick note or a long, thoughtful letter.

The Bock fountain pen nib (medium) in Striking Red Lacquer glides smoothly across the paper, ensuring the pen’s perfect balance requires only the minimum of effort to produce letters and form words.

The cap screws on and off easily with reassuring precision that makes the closed pen appear seamless. Totally uncluttered and unencumbered by a clip or any other adornment, the barrel and cap are sleek and perfectly rounded, with domed ends complementing the clean straight lines of both. The cap cannot be "posted"; the pen is perfectly balanced to write without this.

The finish is natural, unlacquered, and over time will develop a rich, living patina unique to each user's hand. For those who prefer a bright, polished aesthetic, the brass can be easily buffed back to a brilliant golden shine using a gentle abrasive.

Naturally antimicrobial, brass shares copper's inherent alloy properties in inhibiting bacteria and microbes on contact, making it a hygienic choice for daily professional use.
